Terms
Short, because there is not much to agree to. You install an app that keeps your things on your own phone; we do not hold your data, so most of what usually fills this page does not apply.
The app
Timegrove is licensed to you for personal use on devices you own, under Apple's standard End User License Agreement for App Store apps, which applies in addition to this page. You keep every right in the content you create — photos, notes, recordings, the lot. We claim nothing in it, and could not use it if we wanted to: we never receive it.
Free and Premium
The free tier holds 3 trees with
100 memories each, the Rail timeline, and
1 rich export a month with a small
“Made with Timegrove” credit. Raw JSON and .tmln exports are free, unlimited
and never marked — getting your things out is not a paid feature.
Premium is $19.99 a year with a 7-day trial, or $59.99 once. Purchases go through Apple; refunds are Apple's process, not ours.
A feature that ships in Premium is not taken back out. If you buy lifetime, it stays lifetime. If a subscription lapses, your trees and memories are all still there — the extra timeline styles simply stop drawing until it resumes. Nothing is deleted for not paying.
What we do not promise
The app is provided as it is. We test it, we use it ourselves, and we still cannot promise it will never lose anything — no software can, which is why export is free and iCloud backup exists. Keep your own backup of anything you would be sad to lose. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us.
If you lose the device and have no backup, the memories on it are gone. That is the cost of the app never having a copy, and it is a deliberate trade rather than an oversight.
This website
The text and images here are ours; the sample groves are written fiction and their photos are generated illustrations, not real people. Quote us, screenshot us, write about us — just do not present the site as your own.
Changes and contact
If these terms change in a way that matters, the app will say so rather than leaving it here to be discovered. Questions go to [email protected].
